Today, CU ink invited credit unions around the tri-state area to participate in their Fall Connections Conference. The keynote speaker, Michael Mavaddat - EVP Decision Strategies International, Inc. was a key contributor to the CUES 2010 Scenarios for Credit Unions Executive Report. Michael spoke to the group about current challenges and ways to focus on creating opportunities for business growth.

Pat Sweeney, Director of Alliance Programs at SEDONA Corporation followed the keynote address. Pat is an experienced speaker addressing leaders of financial institutions across the country. His focus is on profitable growth and improving the member experience.

In the afternoon participants were introduced to new scoring tools available to help predict consumers' income loss risk and ability-to-pay risk. Suresh Annappindi, CEO Scorelogix, LLC focused on understanding consumer financial health, spending preferences and behaviors, and how these will impact your loan portfolio in the current economic climate.

The event concluded with statement processing solutions. Demonstrations showing improved formats, effective use of statement messaging and other variable imaging tools were shared with participants.

CU ink President, Bob Connor, commented, "We are pleased to bring credit unions together to talk about the challenges and opportunities in the current economic climate. CU ink provides resources to credit unions that include services and support as well as educational opportunities."

Any credit union that was unable to attend the Connections Conference should contact Bob Connor at (484) 690-0212, x 105 to discuss agenda items from the conference and future events with CU ink.
